Dear Aunt Betty, it has come to my attention that you are trying to eat healthy while on a budget. Uncle bill has informed me that you have tried many different ways but none of them have worked. although you are the older and the wiser i would hope that some advice from your second oldest neice would help you make a better choice. If you choose not to listen or take my advice then i will understand. this is a very touchy subject not only for you but for many other families that are in the same predicament as yourself. Here is what you can do to eat healthier on a budget. First, off try looking at the ads in those supermarket packages that are left on your doorsteps each week. They have some very good items that you just might be interested in. Then buy some vegetable seeds that you like the most and some potting soil. With these items you can start your own garden in your backyard. By doing so you will save yourself money on the everyday used vegetables like green beans, tomatoes, corn, and many other vegetables as well. Vegetables like these can be frozen for long periods of time. Take the tomatoes for instance, you can make homemade sauces and ketchup from scratch that will save you money for a while. these sauces can store for up to two years and won't even spoil. The green beans you can clean and freeze up to a year. You can also do this with squash, onions, corn, spinach, and many others. Did you also know that you can make your own pasta and freeze it for six months to a year? Yes you can do that too. You can even make your own bread and freeze it up to six months at a time. Now how very interested are you or should I say inclined to make a change for the better.
In conclusion, as we said before there are many ways to eat healthier on a budget, also how to save big money. These are just a few ways to make a bad situation in today's economy go better for everyone involved.

The movie that was shown in class today had a very small effect on my views as to how food is handled. Farmers are being told to not speak to the media about the raising of the animals and the growth of agricultural growth of vegetables. The government has just a little to much say about how these things are done in todays economical era. What it comes down to is that the people of today would perferr to go out and spend money on fast food as opposed to cooking a healthy meal at home.
